SC JN-4031 embedded tool, developed at Systemcom, makes much easier development of C i C++ applications. This is the set of plug-ins that extends the Eclipse subproject CDT. CDT provides fully functional C and C++ Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the Eclipse platform.

To be able to use SC JN-4031 embedded tool, there are two requirements:

• Existing Eclipse installation on your computer
• Existing installation of Jennic JN-SW-4031 SDK 

Existing Eclipse installation on your computer

You can install SC JN-4031 embedded tool in your existing Eclipse environment using Eclipse’s software update mechanism. Eclipse can be downloaded here.

Existing installation of Jennic SDK

SC JN-4031 embedded tool uses toolchain and flash utilities that are the part of Jennic JN-SW-4031 SDK bundle. That bundle can be downloaded on Jennic web site. This means that family of JN51xx chips is supported.

SC JN-4031 embedded tools features

• Managed builder - extended to support creating Jennic projects using Jennic toolchain definition
• Jennic specific launcher for debugging from the Eclipse environment
• Support for calling flash tools from the Eclipse environment
